Why Should You Trust Our Advice?
David Nicholas Bio
I’ve worked as a fully qualified electrician in the UK for over a decade and I have achieved a City and Guilds Level 3 Qualification in Electrotechnical Installation alongside a completed AM2 assessment (the big exam at the end of our apprenticeships) alongside an apprenticeship completion certificate (only given out to those who have completed a 4-year structured apprenticeship training program)
I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from smaller domestic work (such as in customers’ homes carrying out rewires and fuse board changes) all the way up to large power distribution projects (such as wind farms and transformer installations).
The wide variety of work has provided me with a great amount of hands-on experience and a feel for common questions that customers hiring electricians tend to have. It is through the many articles that I write, that I try to answer these common questions as best as I can so that readers gain some background information before employing the services of local tradesmen.
A part of this site is also dedicated to answering the common questions that those looking to pursue an electrical career often have. I came to the trade later in life which gives me a unique perspective that I hope readers find interesting and engaging.
I hope you get great value from the site and feel free to reach out and say hello with any questions or comments you may have!
